3. Install RMFT on the new machine in the internal network. If you did not

delete the database, you will need to specify a different database name

during the Site Configuration

stage of the installation.

4. Run the DMZ Setup Wizard and configure the RMFT Server to be the

internal RMFT Server.

5. Restore the packages and settings to the new RMFT installation using

RMFT's Backup and Restore feature.

6. On the database server, issue the following SQL command:

select max(bh_id) from bh_package_reports

The output will be a number.

7. Stop the RMFT Admin Agent service.

8. Open ~\RMFT\Config\dmz_sync_report_ids.txt and replace the first

number with the output of the SQL command.

9. Save the ~\RMFT\Config\dmz_sync_report_ids.txt file and start the

RMFT Admin Agent service.

Migrating the DMZ RMFT Installation in a DMZ Environment

1. Back up the RMFT packages and settings using RMFT's Backup and

Restore feature.

2. Optionally, delete the DMZ RMFT database. This is only necessary if you

want to use the same database name in the new installation.

3. Allocate the decommissioned machine's IP address to the new machine.

4. Install RMFT on the new machine in the DMZ. If you did not delete the

database, you will need to specify a different database name during the

Site Configuration

stage of the installation.

5. On the DMZ RMFT Server, run the DMZ Setup Wizard and configure the

RMFT Server to be the DMZ RMFT Server.

6. Restore the packages and settings to the new RMFT installation using

RMFT's Backup and Restore feature.

7. On the database server, issue the following SQL command:

select max(bh_id) from bh_package_reports

The output will be a number.

8. Stop the RMFT Admin Agent service.
